I have visited this "frontier" town twice...
My first visit here came in 1981 on a business trip that continued on 400 miles above the arctic circle to Prudhoe Bay.
There wasn't much to see then in 1981 and it hadn't changed much when I returned on a road trip from Whittier in 2012.
